  1. Step 1: In a bowl add warm water (around 90°F).
  2. Step 1 (contd): Cut Paneer into small cubes and place in the water
  3. Step 1 (contd): Add 1/2 tsp of salt, stir and set aside
  4. Step 2: Add spinach to food processor and blend
  5. Step 2 (contd): Add 1/4 cup water and continue blending until desired consistency
  6. Step 3: Heat ¼ cup of oil over medium heat, add the onions and cook for approximately 7 – 10 minutes
  7. GUDDI’S COOKING TIP Onions will be translucent when done
  8. Step 4: Add garlic
  9. Step 4 (contd): Add ginger
  10. Step 4 (contd): Mix well and let cook until fragrant
  11. GUDDI’S COOKING TIP Stir the mixture occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom and burning
  12. Step 5: Mix spice blend with water and make it into a paste
  13. Step 5 (contd): Add paste to mixture, mix well and let cook
  14. GUDDI’S COOKING TIP Reduce heat to LOW/MEDIUM to prevent spices from burning
  15. GUDDI’S COOKING TIP When oil forms around the edges it is fully cooked
  16. Step 6; Add tomatoes and mix well
  17. Step 6 (contd): Add 1/4 cup water
  18. Step 6 (contd): Add 1/4 tsp of salt
  19. GUDDI’S COOKING TIP Reduce heat to LOW/MEDIUM TO prevent it from burning
  20. Step 6 (contd): Cover and let cook for 20-25 minutes
  21. GUDDI’S COOKING TIP Check in occasionally and stir to prevent it from sticking to the bottom and burning
  22. GUDDI’S COOKING TIP Tomatoes will be soft and mushy when it is fully cooked
  23. Step 7: Add spinach and mix into mixture
  24. Step 7 (contd): Cover and let cook for 10-15 minutes
  25. GUDDI’S COOKING TIP Check in occasionally and stir to prevent it from sticking to the bottom and burning
  26. Step 8: Add paneer to the mixture, mix it in well
  27. Step 8 (contd): Cook for approximately 7 – 10 minutes
  28. Step 9: Remove from stove and let rest for a few minutes
